Spoke Sisters

Spoke Sisters…female riders and female Coaches.  A camp for riders that would like to enhance their mountain biking skills, confidence and level of comfort with the sport.  Once this is achieved, these female riders have built their courage, expanded their community and are ready to crush the trails of The Shore.

Spoke Sisters will be available in the Spring, on individual Sundays, or as a week long camp, for one session in July and another in August.

For the majority of the week, we will explore the trails on Mt Fromme.  On Thursday, all riders will start and finish at the Hyannis Trail.  On Friday, some riders will return to Fromme for some hot downhill laps.  Others, will start their day at the Mushroom Parking Lot and experience Corkscrew, John Deer, Asian Adonis, Pingu, Pangor, to mention a few.

All Spoke Sisters will be assessed on day 1 and placed into appropriate skill groups.

Summer – Riders will have the opportunity to give back to their trails by spending time involved in trail maintenance through the NSMBA Youth Stewardship Program.  In 2019 our riders gave 500+ hours of time working on the trails.  The NSMBA (North Shore Mountain Biking Association) provides excellent instruction and guidance.
