Spoke Sisters – Summer

Spoke Sisters…female riders and female coaches.

Female riders of all abilities.  Expanded to include ages 5-8 years!   Last year was an enormous success for all riders that joined this camp and we are doing it again this year.

More female riders is something I strongly believe in.  For this reason, this camp will be deeply discounted using promo code SS300, for $300 off the regular price.

Offered one week in July 2026 and one week in August 2026.

These riders have the ability to start and stop on their own, ride a 16 inch wheeled bike or larger and want to have a fun filled week.  Our aim is to create a supportive, confidence building space where riders can connect, build friendships with other female riders and thrive in this community.

We will ride LOTS and participate in a scavenger hunt through the Forest Quest program at the Ecology Center, explore the settlement from the 1930s along Lynn Creek where there were homes with cows and chickens and a very long tunnel that they moved water through.

The riders will be on the trails in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve or Fromme Mt.  Riders will be sorted into skill groups on Day1.

It’s all about meeting other girls that ride bikes and growing together by hanging out in the forest, while exploring the trails, building bike skills and supporting each other along the way.

Come Join the Spoke Sisters camp for 2025!

Information

Requirements

If your child does not have the skills to be able to ride the terrain for their camp, we will try to fit them into another camp.

If we are not able to place them into an appropriate camp, we will not be able to refund your registration fee.

Let’s have a chat and find a solution that will work well for us both.

  • 16″ wheel and larger
  • Comfortable starting and stopping, riding in control, riding up and down hills.  There are 3 blocks of road riding to reach the Demo Forest.
What to Bring
  • The Obvious: Bike and Helmet and highly recommended, knee & elbow pads
  • The Not So Obvious: Water, lunch (no nuts), spare tube (mandatory), all in a backpack, to be carried by the rider.
Expectations
Can my child always ride with their friend?

We make every effort to keep friends together, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Our groups are created to ensure each rider is kept engaged and in their challenge zone. This creates a cohesive group and a better experience for all the riders.

The groups are defined by the skills of all the children attending that week.

BIKE TUNE UP MANDATORY

Please ensure that your child’s bike is tuned up and ready to roll a few weeks prior to coming to camp.  Bike stores are very busy so phone and make an appointment for the tune up.

Having your child’s bike in good operational condition will create a positive experience for your child.
