R-Rated Rippers – Adult Spring

During these sessions, we provide knowledge about techniques and the thought process needed to navigate the single track trails of The Shore.  The coach, Tammy, has a Masters of Science, so there will be a bit of PHYSICS sprinkled into most explanations.

The Thought Process…

  • be able to think your way through technical aspects of a trail
      • a new way to look at starting and stopping,
      • unravel body positions for climbing and descending,
      • pedal placement,
      • gears,
      • braking,
      • cornering,
      • line choice
      • And MORE!!!

The Ultimate Goal…

  • to gain an understanding of the various techniques on less technical trails and then bring your knowledge to the more advanced trails as you progress or that you typical ride

Did you know…

  • that there are 3 different methods for climbing, each depends on the terrain and the pitch
  • that there are 5 components to cornering
  • that ‘Diaper Moss’ is a thing and its importance for trail building

If you don’t know the answers to the above, then R Rated Rippers if for YOU!!!

Join R Rated Rippers, you must be 19 years of age or older, to find out the details!!!
